When the president of AMC came to us with his idea for a retirement gift for Charles Dolan—the founder of Cablevision and HBO—it became a wild (and wildly successful) experiment in design and Illustration.
Oh, the places we went!
Using existing Dr. Seuss work as a starting point, we created custom illustrations to support the story of Dolan’s career, and to incorporate him into the visuals (literally—the Cat in the Hat wore his face).
The book was so well received it fostered a matching poster, a life-size cutout and excitement among other clients wanting their own story to get the Seuss treatment.
