BARLEAN’S OMEGA SWIRLS

“Take the bad with the good.” When it comes to supplements like fish oil (or even its hippie cousin, flax oil), most health drinks mean the phrase literally. It’s just understood that serious nutrition doesn’t taste good, right? Not anymore. Barlean’s offered the “seriously delicious;” unfortunately, its original, uninspired packaging read more like “take your medicine.”

An enticing new look that was easy to swallow.

Working with our agency partner Creative Co-op, we gave the brand a look that lived up to its claims: graphics of succulent fruit and cream, popping off the package as if spoon-feeding you. Splashes of juice or swirls of cocoa vivid enough to make the mouth water. Paired with an almost-infographic layout and a storytelling tagline, it gave nutrition a more accessible, and appetizing, image.
